Las Vegas Trip

Oct. 18 - 21 2007

Wendy and Ryan invited us to join them to celebrate Wendy's 30th birthday in Las Vegas.  It was really awesome we did and saw so many fun things.  Our first night we stayed at the Bellagio, they had it all decked out for Halloween!

 Thursday (our day of arrival) we met up with Ryan and Wendy and Meghan (wendy's sister) at the steak house at Treasure Island.  The food was good and the company was better.  After dinner we made our way to the Mirage which is actually the hotel right next door to Treasure Island and we saw the Beatles Love Circ Di Sole Show.  If you have not seen this show yet I highly recommend seeing it!

This is the Stage for it.  It's in a round theatre so you can really sit anywhere and see the show.  AWESOME!

Friday Morning we had to switch hotels to the Venetian, so we checked out Bellagio and took a taxi over to the Venetian.  When we arrived to check in Chandler realized that he had accidentally left his Drivers License instead of the Card key in our room, so we had to get a cab and go all the way back and run up to the room and hope it was still there!  It was so we were able to go back and check in at Venetian after having lunch with Ryan, Wendy, and Meghan.

Friday night Chandler and I went to see Phantom of the Opera!  An Awesome show!  Vegas does do it up right but people in the audience need to learn some proper Theatre etiquette!  You don't hop up out of your seat after its over and try to leave walking in front of everyone while the actors are having curtain call!!!!! 

After an Awesome Show we had reservations at B & B Ristorante in the Venetian forums and food area.  This was our most expensive and most delicious meal while in Vegas.  300$ (including tip)  But it was worth EVERY Cent!  And if you decide to go I highly recommend getting the Goat Cheese Tortelloni!

After our wonderful dinner we met up with Ryan, Wendy, Meghan, Gurhan, Paul and several of Wendy's other friends at a bar inside Venetian.

After the bar we went up and had a "party" in our room that lasted until about 4 am.  It was broken up by the security guard of the hotel who said there had been some complaints of too much noise!!!

On Saturday we ate breakfast at Venetians French Restaurant Buchions.  It was ok but sadly the service was very poor and we were done with our meal 30 mins before they finally brought us our check!

Later in the day we walked around the shopping area and then decided to go on a Gondola ride.  It was really fun.

Following the Gondola ride we decided we should check out the Wax Museum which was really cool to see and we took a bunch of pictures with some of the famous figures. :)

That evening we met everyone at Planet  Hollywood for dinner at the buffet and then over to Tropicana to see the Comedy show.  It was really fun and we had a GREAT time.

Sunday was check out day but our flight didn't leave until 9:15 pm so we took our luggage in a taxi down to Caesars palace and left it with them while we shopped in the forums.  Chandler had us go into some of the expensive jewelry shops and at Tiffany's Chandler bought me 2 rather nice pieces in there!!!!  We also had lunch at Wolfgang Pucks Chinese restaurant with Gurhan because he didn't have to leave until the redeye flight.

Then it was time to go to the airport....Goodbye Vegas!
